Working now.OK, thanks for your help.
I then have no idea what the problem could be.I just tried again and did not move any files back to the root as I did previously, so now url is http://www.domain.com/wordpress and it still gives me the same error.
I have been with this hosting company for almost 10 years and have installed many WordPress sites with them and never had any issues.
What does the default .htaccess file need to look like if you think it could be that.
I have done that 3 times already.
Tried both the .zip and tar file and both always give the same problem. The error log is full of this:
[Tue Nov 26 14:46:38 2013] [error] [client IP] File does not exist: /home/domain/public_html/403.shtml, referer: http://domain.com/wp-admin/setup-config.php?step=1
I extracted everything in my root.
Then go to my website. Url is: http://domain.com/I click on “Create a Configuration File”
Url is now: http://domain.com/wp-admin/setup-config.phpI click on Let’s go,
Url is now: http://domain.com/wp-admin/setup-config.php?step=1Enter my DB details and then I get the error.
