Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: How to allow only wp-members access a directory folderI tried that one but it does not work for a directory, only for wordpress itself. The file I want to protect is on the root of the server outside of the WP directory. Is it possible to make it accessible only by members of my site whether it be by roles or capabilities? Im looking into htacces and indexes but I have to create usernames and passwords separate from wordpress.

In reply to: How to allow only wp-members access a directory folderBtw, I am not referring to the wp_members plugin. I meant wordpress members specifically to have directory access either by role or by capabilities.

confirmed fixed.
I guess I jumped the gun. It worked properly for about an hour then began doing it again.
Fixed it. The problem was that I turned the wordfence plugin cache on. For some reason it was pulling other pages into the main one.
Yes.
None of the plugins are the problem. However, the theme installed has “plugins” that are addons that I can’t disable. For example, Visual Composer.
