Wortify is working with a clean install of WP, and usually this seems to indicate a misbehaviour with other plugins.

Why should it work for backend and then not the frontend if I hadnt created the right files?
Non of the frontend area is regarding Event Manager.
Everything in Admin section would translate.
Nothing in frontend at all. “Events” “Search” “Categories” etc.
Not any kind of translation plugin what so ever.
File is called dbem-nb_NO but it would not work, in frontend. It work in backend but not in front!
