In reply to: After I upload the files receive: 500 Internal Server ErrorJust the last few lines that specify the 500 error should be all we need for this issue.

In reply to: Windows 2003, IUSR_SERVER and security …Technically speaking, giving anything extra permissions that it doesn’t need is a security issue.
If you want to do this temporarily during the upgrade, it’s up to you. Personally speaking (and FYI: Security is ingrained into me due to past jobs), I wouldn’t give IUSR_SERVER permissions to modify on an open IIS server. If it’s sitting behind a firewall that you’ve only got HTTP & FTP access though, then it might be acceptable to do for a few minutes.
The first thing that I would absolutely do is to make sure you’re fully updated on the Windows side as well as any other server based application. This typically wouldn’t be a major issue, but Windows servers are targeted more than anything else.

In reply to: After I upload the files receive: 500 Internal Server ErrorThe HTTP error log would probably be a huge help right now. Can you grab that and see what the last few lines are?

In reply to: After I upload the files receive: 500 Internal Server ErrorYou’re still pointing to a plugin issue. Did you rename the plugin directory?

In reply to: Blog moved, links on new location point to oldYou need to edit the prefs on your blog and tell it that it’s in a new place. From what I’m seeing, its still set for 00q.nl…
Look under your General Settings on the backend, it should have the wrong domain listed.

In reply to: After I upload the files receive: 500 Internal Server ErrorDaniel,
The first thing I would try is to rename the plugin folder and see if you still get the error. If not, you need to re-enable each plugin one at a time to see which one is causing the problem.
If that doesn’t work, can you list what you’ve tried as well?
