In reply to: All In One SEO problemsit has been a couple of days, but it is a brand new site. i understand what you’re saying and i guess i’ll just wait it out.
i’ll re-post this in a few days if it never updates. thanks so much for the help!
esmi,
thanks for the reply, but that doesn’t work. it changes the border around the page or category, but not the whole category bar (that stays as a gray dotted line for some reason)
i think the key here is in the hint they give you: “Every item of the menu bar, plus the menu bar itself, will be wrapped into this border. To have no borders in the first level, give it the same color as the background color for first level items. Don’t use semicolons here.”
what is the first level all about? where can i not use semi-colons? i’ve tried doing “1px solid #ffffff, 3px solid #000000” and such, but it seems to always default to the first one (1px solid #ffffff) and never affects the menu bar itself.
any other advice? anyone? thanks

In reply to: Atahualpa page/category menu helpThere are actually two websites I’m building where you can view the problem I’m addressing:
proresumebuilder.com
everestresumes.comIn both instances I even tried to match the background color, but you can still see the dotted line for the box containing the Page and Categories bar.
Let me know if you have any advice. Thanks!

In reply to: permalink problem with URLThanks for the response. I don’t think that’s the problem. I have the front page set to a static page (Home), but it’s still defaulting to the “About Me” page.
Anytime I try and view the “Home” page (even in my WP dashboard) it shows me the “About Me” page. I even went so far as deleting that page and creating another “Home” page from scratch, but it still links to the “About Me” page.
Like I said, I think it has something to do with the Permalink, but I don’t know what.
Any other thoughts? Anyone?
