I think I misunderstood about the homepage URL.May I start it over.
At first, I created a static page titled ‘HOME’,
and WP automatically set its Permalink to
http://ikkiquills.com/?page_id=11Then I set it to be Front page
and the Permalink is automatically changed to
http://ikkiquills.com/
at this point, the front page displayed normally.then I changed the Permalinks format
from default to ‘Month and name’
then the front page became ‘Not Found’.So what should I do next? Please help.

I tried setting them back to default, the homepage went back to normal.
but once I set them to custom structure again,
it shown ‘Not Found’.
And I don’t have any caching plugins, Mike.please help. I really have no idea.

The webhost told me to set file permissions in Plesk

my webhost use port 77 instead port 21.Please suggest.
