Thanks bill. I had noticed such modifications more than once in ‘wp-content/plugins’ in past three days.Does the type of checks you are talking about occur more than once or at regular intervals for plugins.
Thanks, but why didn’t the concerned plugin’s directory, sub-directories etc. indicate modification time for those minor updates (in cpanel,as usual).

Thank you for your reply. The problem was direct insertion of images using tinymce editor. When I inserted div tag the problem was resolved.
