In reply to: Not able to login after enabling SAML authenticationSure ..Thanks !!
After enabling SAML authentication in Settings>Single Sign On>General>SAML authentication ,i try opening the wordpress login page in an incognito window to save myself from getting locked out of wordpress.
Here,In the new window the login window of wordpress is not shown instead the website is displayed.
why is that so ?When i click on “Log in ” a blank page id displayed .
please let me know the reason for this and troubleshoot also .Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Not able to login after enabling SAML authenticationDoing this, the changes that happened is Under Settings ,the “Single-Sign-on Plugin” got vanished and instead of it “Permalinks” plugin was seen.
But i need a single-sign -on plugin to be able to tick the “Enable SAML authentication” ,then only i think the SAML authentication will be enabled .
If i change the folder wp-contents->plugins to plugins.hold the plugiins get deactivated.Yes ,Normally i m able to login to wordpress and able to see the Dashboard.
My concern lies when i am enabling the “SAML authentication” the same is not happening .I have created a user in wordpress under a group and same user is also created in my company’s Idp enrolled with a password token .Now,i enabled the “SAML authentication” under Setttings>Single Sign on >General>SAML authentication ,open another window (New igcognito window) and try logging in with same user using enrolled token password,I m not able to see the dash board, the screen is blank.!

In reply to: Not able to login after enabling SAML authenticationI was able to locate the directory in my C:\ drive Here I can see the wp-contents>plugin folder and was able to rename it to plugins.hold .
But under /wp-admin folder there is no “plugins” folder!

In reply to: Not able to login after enabling SAML authenticationi am not able to locate “wp-contents” folder as mentioned in the link.
1)Via FTP or your host’s file manager, navigate to the wp-contents folder (directory)
2)Via FTP or your host’s file manager, rename the folder “plugins” to “plugins.hold”
3)Login to your WordPress administration menus (/wp-admin)
4)Via FTP or your host’s file manager, rename “plugins.hold” back to “plugins”Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Password setting not visible in Add New UserHere when i am using Single Sign on ,it gives error “You have not specified any permission groups for SSO users. All SSO users will either be subscribers, or fail to log in.”
Now what i tried is i downloaded a “User Groups ” plugin and activated it,After that i created a user group “admin group” and added user to it .
Now i go to the Settings> Single Sign On>Service Provider >Groups>
Administrators Group Name add this “admin group ”when i try to sign in with the same user with my company’s Idp, i get to see the website saying “Hello World” .The log in page is blank screen and I am not able to login.Only default website page is seen.
How to trouble shoot it ?Forum: Fixing WordPress
