Ipstenu, thanks for your support, that problem I was referring was already solved after the host support techs adding a new sunrise.php file..
as I told in the beginning, the site is in migration to Cloud server, till date the migration has not completed, I see one or other issue..
Yesterday we noted wp-config file missed, they fixed, site live again today I tried to add a woocommerce code for Renaming and removing tabs & tried updated it in functions.php file, the site went blank, showing a blank white page again!..
today they fixed it saying that:
Single quote was not used in this line: $tabs[‘description’][‘title’] = __( ‘What\’s Included’ ); // Rename the description tab It was causing this issue with the blank page.
I’m now panic indeed!…though not relevant to my above topic started, could you help me sort if my decision to upgrade to a cloud host for my wordpress multiste is a bad thing?
Isn’t cloud convenient to manage the wordpress from its dashboard, the way everyone does managing the themes, plugins, widgets etc…from the editor?
Or should wordpress require additional tools like MAAS(ubuntu) to manage the dashboard content?
Yes, uploaded, and the site was normal…it happened like this: the site has been migrating to new server, in the process I found this error(Warning: include..), hosting providers uploaded the required(sunrise) file, the site came live but they said the file was neither on the server that was used before nor was misplaced in the process of migration…if the error wasn’t due to server shift process, what could had done this, I was confused!

In reply to: The Sitewide tags settings remains unchanged!hi Ipstenu, after many attempts of re-installing & experimenting on various plugins its now working. Now all posts inside the multinetwork site except the Homepage posts are now imported to one place, here: allinhyderabad.com/tags/ …how can we import the blogposts from Homepage, as the plugin did to other sites posts?
And as I’ve been saying since beginning, how can we make all network sites’ posts import on Homepage(allinhyderabad.com) with this plugin rather on Tags page(http://allinhyderabad.com/tags/), is that possible at all!?
Look forward to your reply..

In reply to: Mutliple Problems with my New WPmultisite PortalAssuming you want to give all users of your network access to all sites
I mean, a native registration form, general visitors to a site can register, so they get access to all sites inside network, like this one:

In reply to: Mutliple Problems with my New WPmultisite PortalI see, ok, thanks Mike!…and for User registration on the website(mentioned in my 5th point), I want to install a plugin which can automatically adds/show login form(registration) to all sites on the network as well on the pages, say a default login form on every site and page. I found Easy sign-up plugin(wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/easy-sign-up) can do this job, however I’ve also found Join my multisite plugin(http://wordpress.org/plugins/join-my-multisite/), does exactly what I’m looking for. Which one would you recommend for my use?
Also, can you explain which plugin is better to give access to the Users to all sites on the network rather single site?..bit confused whether these plugins gives access only per site registration so users can only access/comment/subscribe to single site or to all sites on the network!
Look forward to your reply..

In reply to: Mutliple Problems with my New WPmultisite PortalThanks for your help Mika!.
2)You mean edit the wp_head in each individual theme of the network or home-page theme?
4)So, you say there’s nothing to worry about pageload time though it has multiple themes activated in the network!?..I’m wondering because having mutliple themes activated on WP-multisite network obviously have many files eventually effecting the pageload time..just as a single larger CSS or JavaScript file will often load quicker because more time can be spent downloading the data rather than establishing multiple connections to a server…am I wrong?
Thanks again!
