In reply to: Finding 1.5 themes the easy wayshadow – You know what would be a great idea, imho… Since I noticed the thread regarding “broken themes”, I was thinking about the possibilities of setting up something similar to CSS Beauty, Stylegala, etc. specifically for WordPress themes. Contributors would be able to post a review of each theme, known issues, etc. Then users could post their own feedback. Likes / dislikes, whatever. Just taking the whole repository idea, which is a great one by itself, and expanding on it, basically. Lemme know what you think… *shrug* π

Alex, thanks ever so much for organizing this whole mess and having the patience to actually see it through to the end. (Like I mentioned on the other thread, how many 11:59 entries did you have? π

In reply to: Site Name on banner? That’ll work too… That’s like what Shaun Inman uses on his site to bump the titles off the navigation. Didn’t think about that, actually, I was just trying to remove it. π (And don’t forget your meta tags!)

In reply to: Site Name on banner?Delete these tags to remove it. The layer has the large header image as the background, with the title as the actual content.

In reply to: Looking for the first letter pluginI’m looking to achieve an effect similar to that found on http://www.cameronmoll.com with this plug-in. How would I go about modifying it to change the first letter of the headline to a drop cap, rather than the post itself? I’m sure it’s a simple solution, but my knowledge of both PHP and WP is rather minimal. π
