In reply to: There doesn't seem to be a wp-config.php file – But there is!Okay.
After the installation I went to the localhost/ and I get the following message:
It works!
This is the default web page for this server.
The web server software is running but no content has been added, yet.
I go to the localhost/wordpress and get this message:
There doesn’t seem to be a wp-config.php file. I need this before we can get started.
Need more help? We got it.
You can create a wp-config.php file through a web interface, but this doesn’t work for all server setups. The safest way is to manually create the file.
Create a Configuration File
I press ‘Create a Congiguation File’ and presses ‘Let’s go’.
I insert my Database name, username, password, database host, table prefix. And go to the next page. It says now:
Sorry, but I can’t write the wp-config.php file.
You can create the wp-config.php manually and paste the following text into it.
*Lot of text*
After you’ve done that, click “Run the install.”
I insert it into my wp-conifg.php in my root folder called ‘wordpress’, and presses “Run the install”.
But when I press “Run the install”, it gives me this message again:
There doesn’t seem to be a wp-config.php file. I need this before we can get started.

And then I can start over again.

In reply to: There doesn't seem to be a wp-config.php file – But there is!Yes, know. I followed the guide as I linked to before. I think I made a database there. I think I used Apache to that. Egen I type localhost/ i get a message that sats something like “Congratulasions. You have succesful build a database, but there is no content yet”

In reply to: There doesn't seem to be a wp-config.php file – But there is!I don’t really know very much about how all this works. But I get a happy message when going to localhost/ .
How can I make sure that I have a DB?

In reply to: There doesn't seem to be a wp-config.php file – But there is!I changed them to first “Acces files” (for both me, group and others) – it didn’t work. Then I changed it to “Create and delete files” – It didn’t work neither.
I went to “Change permissions for Enclosed Files”. Changed all of them to “Read and Write only” under files, and “Create and delete” under folders.
Nothing works. What is wrong?

In reply to: No wp-config.php file error message, even after creationI did exactly that, but I still get the error.
