Hi, were you able to resolve this? I’m having the same problem, buttons not showing on site, but the code is there in the source.
This also just happened to me, had the site running locally (MAMP) and online, both stopped, all that would have changed was some CSS. I even tried installing lightbox the good old manual way, like i’ve done many times before – no go. I’ve switched NextGen back to Thickbox and it works fine. Driving me crazy!
