I went back and re did the article in wordpad – WOW that really cleans up code! Thank you both for the notes. I did not realize how much all the extraneous code could mess with the system. Now It looks good and is easy to follow both in visual and html.

Ok, Thanks I will use a different program to write with. However that does not solve the question of why and what happened. The post was there and was getting hits too until I approved the last pingback then it just ate the whole page. You can see that not even the side bar is showing in IE. looks fine in all other browsers.
When I approved the pingback i was sent to a page in the wp-admin that asked if I really wanted to approve it then I clicked yes. I mention this because the other 2 did not send me to any second page.
Thanks for the help. I may just delete the post and see if I get my blog back for IE. Seems drastic as it is viewable in all other browsers.
