    Thanks for pointing me towards the answer. Attributes for products on our page exist primarily to enable quality filtering for our customers when shopping and they also provide additional information that Google uses to create structure data for the product page such as brand name etc.

    URLs of such attributes do not have any added value because they only contain products that have a certain attribute.

    All these products are already included and listed in the sitemap by default, am I correct? And re-entering them through attributes would not only be considered thin or poor quality content but also duplicate content?

    Therefore, if I understood the attributes correctly, it would be best to exclude them from the sitemap in this case?
