Also, since I changed the top buttons/menu items from sites to empty links (so that they cannot be clicked on anymore), people have to click on them anyway to open the dropdown menu. Is something wrong with that solution?

So if the example is working fine, this means the theme does have the ability to show dropdown menus on hover, right? And something must have gone wrong when I was creating the website?

Can it be fixed by changing the display:none to display:block like shown in Jacob’s comment? Or do I have to change more than this?
