In the light version you can manage this with custom CSS.
Please add below custom CSS snippet to WordPress Appearance > Customizer > Custom CSS section or your theme / child theme style.css

A category filter means category will be displayed above layout and when user clicks on it then its relevant category post will code right?
If above is the case then this functionality is not available with in plugin.
You can still display posts for particular category with shortcode parameter 🙂

I have checked it and it it looks like that there is something with Site Origin page builder.
Have you tried to removing the block and adding it again?
Also when you add shortcode to editor then please remove the double quote
(")and add it again manually. Sometime it is converted to special character and beaks the functionality.Hi @lpk35

I have checked it and found that it depends on the “Pause” and “Speed” parameter of Widget. If we reduced the “Pause” below to 1000 then it behaves something different because of high speed.
Can you please update the “Pause” value to 3000 and “Speed” value to 600 ? I think it will look good and work also for you.

For your query,
1) But I still have the author in the post itself…
Ans – I think you are talking about the post single page or detailed page when we click on ‘Read More’ button on grid.
Actually single page is not handled by plugin. It is dependent on your theme and handled by it to maintain the look and feel according to your website.
2) Second I would prefer the url looking this way : website/news/news01, website/news/news02 and not website/news01, website/news02
Ans – Plugin works with your WordPress default post section and it have WordPress permalink structure like this.
In case if you want to change the post permalink structure then you can try any third party plugin for this.
