In reply to: yoast not appearing on postsPali – thanks for being so supportive!
There are no options to add keywords, etc. at the bottom of the post.
I used to have All in One SEO (I think that’s what it was called) so remember that’s what it looked like, and saw soemthing similar when setting up the settings for Yoast
If you want captions, then you choose to import “image browser”, and it’ll look like this (see link below). I like that it has the arrows and border, indicating that it’s a slideshow. But it doesn’t format dimensions to the page very well; it can dominate the page. here’s an example on my blog.

http://americanathebeautiful.org/settlers-indians/ultimately though, i’m leaving nextgen and going with a premium plugin: either of these

http://americanathebeautiful.org/settlers-indians/no, it doesn’t rotate, but there are “next” buttons, which i like. I didn’t like that the slideshow sat there and people may not know that it was a slideshow… with the buttons, they know. it all depends on your need.
as for the rest of your question, unfortunately i can’t help. I honestly don;t even understand what you asked! I’m the least technical person working with WordPress!
good luck! perhaps post again with a new topic to see if someone savvier than i can help?
i just learned from the programmer that they are working ona fix for vertical photos that left align and to make them center. right now it’;s just something we have to deal with.
you wrote me a few days back about my form centering in funky way and I haven’t had a chance to 1. thank you or 2. work on it.

I can’t figure out where to find the css for the sidebar. well, i can find it, but it then says “dynamic content” and i can’t figure out what to do next.
truth be told though, i’d be happy with just a simple form on my sidebar like what is on this page
http://americanathebeautiful.org/subscribe/how do i do that with the widget?
thanks!
paulanevermind. i figured it out!
but since you seem to know things, can you help with other questions I have?!
1. how do you put captions on the slideshow?
2. do you know how to get vertical images to place in the center instead of all the to the left? take a look on this page for an example of what i don;t want to happen!thanks!
I’m so impressed with your ability to fix this!
I found the ngg-config.php file, but it’s blank… am I doing something wrong?
thanks!
Paula@nickie – it worked! thanks!
@nickie_vz
thanks for this incredibly thorough reply. Unfortunately, I’m not as savvy at this as you!You said
If you look in the form design area, the last section is share itWhere do I find the form design area…?
do you mean where it gives options for colors, etc?
if so, i’m not seeing anything for share it.or under the main left “nav” for settings?
general, writing, reading, discussion, media, privacy, etc.
sharing is the last one there.but then i have options to add sharing buttons like FB, twitter, stumbleupon, etc.
thanks for your time and help to clarify.
Hi!
Obsessed with MailChimp! Just added the widget to my site and have a formatting question. It’s aligning center and looks yucky (yes, I said yucky). http://www.americanathebeautiful.org/blog
1. how do i align left
2. any way to get the text/html/mobile onto one line so it doesn’t consume so much real estate?****
Another question. I’d also like to make a page in the nav for “subscribe.” My theme has a lovely home page, but folks don’t always find the subscribe intuitively… I tried entering the html and php cpde you suggested (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/mailchimp/installation/) but 1. it didn’t work and 2. it deleted the text I had on the page. thoughts? how do i get the form into the body of a page, not just in a widget area?Thank you!
