You need to:
- Install playbuzz plugin
- Activate the plugin
- Create a new post
- Paste the shortcode into the post
- Save the post

The shared post caption displays playbuzz.com (Facebook default, nothing that we can do about it), but the link goes to the original page on which the item is embedded.Also, you may choose to take down the share buttons offered by PlayBuzz and place your own share buttons on the page instead. Either way, all traffic generated out of shared posts originating from your site, go back to your site.

In reply to: [Playbuzz] Can shortcode open in main table?Try to replace the “Text Widget” with “PlayBuzz Recommendations widget”. To open the items in your site, you need to create a page that contains PlayBuzz section, and then set this page as the destination links in the recommendations widget:
Creating a PlayBuzz Section:
- Go to: “Dashboard” -> “Pages” -> “Add New”
- In the visual editor insert: [playbuzz-hub]
- Click Publish!
- Copy the URL of the new section page (the url can be found bellow the name of page after “Permalink:”)
Configuring to open on the items in the destination link
- Go to: “Appearance” -> “Widgets”
- Add the “PlayBuzz Recommendations” to one of your sidebars
- In the “Displayed Link” field paste your section url
- Click “Save Changes”

When someone shares on your pages even though the share caption says PlayBuzz it will redirect to the page the item was embedded in. So when users on Facebook and any other social network will click on it they will be directed to your website.
Not all share options have the same impact within Facebook and are compliance with Facebook guidelines, we are in search for the best solution for your website.
The main problem is that sharing the parent host URL directly means the wrong Image + Title + Description on the share, resulting in very bad user experience for your users. We are also in contact with Facebook about this matter.
We are now working on a solution for dedicated to WordPress that will hopefully solve the problem without hurting any user experience.
Rest assure that this is a top priority for us!

Following our e-mail correspondence, we have updated our plugin to meet your needs.
Now you have a new option “WordPress Theme Visibility” which allows you to choose where the embedded content will be shown in your wordpress theme.

Plugin is going through serious upgrade nowadays. Future version should support these cases.
If you are interested, you can contact us directly and I think we will be able to find a temporary solution till the new version is out.
