Thank you, but it still did not work for me! This made everything black:
The code did not work for me to make the word “today” white, it remained black. I am happy with the month being white – and will try the navigation arrow color solution soon. Thank you so much for your help!!

This change looks the same to me – white month/year, but grey nav buttons.
Wonderful! That got the month name changed, thank you!
How about the navigation buttons? They are still grey and hard to see.
p.s. I did test with WP Safe Mode enabled, and all plugins deactivated except for the safe mode plugin and events manager plugin; also default twenty-twenty two theme. Had to change back to Avada and re-activate necessary plugins for the client’s site to remain up and running.
So at this time, currently:
Theme: Avada Version: 7.6.1
Plugins activated: Avada builder, Avada core, Contact form 7, Directorist – Business Directory Plugin, Events Manager, Smash Balloon Instagram Feed.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Menu saving not workingAny helpful tips on this? WordPress 4.9.5 – same issue – cannot add or manipulate menu in any way. I’ve deactivated all plugins and have logged out and logged back in. When I try and add a new page to the menu under Appearance –> Menus, the spinner just keeps on spinning. When I try the Live Preview, it “looks” like it has been added, but upon hitting the Publish button, I receive a message that says there is a problem – try again in a few minutes.

In reply to: Go Daddy Hosting?My 5minute install has been taking me since April. It is now the end of August. My first problem was a GoDaddy one (I couldn’t upload *anything* to the site, let alone WordPress); once that was resolved I put up a simple index page that I created using Dreamweaver.
Now that I’ve been able to upload WordPress, I’ve yet to be able to make any changes… From a ‘Clear Tables’ message (resolved) to the most recent one when I try to install a template while in wp:
“Warning: touch() [function.touch]: Unable to create file D:\Hosting\4449340\html/wp-content/atahualpa.3.4.1.zip because Permission denied in D:\Hosting\4449340\html\wp-admin\includes\file.php on line 175
Download failed. Could not create Temporary file”I’ve also had an email() problem, which I tried to resolve by adding a plugin – I get a similar download failed message.
I really cannot tell if this is a GoDaddy problem, or a WordPress one, but none of the searches I’ve done here in the forum or on google have returned an answer that works.
I’m almost ready to give up and go back to the much simpler Dreamweaver with a link to a blog.
Help. me. please…
