In reply to: Memory Error shutting down admin pagesThanks. It turns out to be plugin related. I tried the memory trick and that didn’t work. But turning off all plugins did. So I have to find the culprit now.

In reply to: Conversion to 3.0 trashed my siteProst,
Do you use FTP? If you do, what I mean is download the latest version of WordPress from the download page of this site. Then copy the files over the ones on your server. It solved the problem for others. It sounds like some of the files on your upgrade didn’t take.

In reply to: Conversion to 3.0 trashed my siteAh hah! When I switched my theme to the new default everything worked again. But as nice as that theme is, I want my old theme. I may just write over it with a new version and see if that fixes it.

In reply to: Conversion to 3.0 trashed my siteTry downloading 3.0 then copying over the installation on your site. That worked for some people

In reply to: Conversion to 3.0 trashed my siteYes, I reactivated my theme. And I tried resetting the blog page, but it goes back to showing the wrong thing. It’s weird. I used the XML save and recreated the blog on another domain and that works just fine. Same version of WordPress. Something is throwing this one off.

In reply to: Conversion to 3.0 trashed my siteWhat about the blog page not showing properly? Everything is set correctly as far as I can tell. The site works now except the blog page shows the home page content instead of my posts.

In reply to: Conversion to 3.0 trashed my siteI have the reading settings set correctly. My static home page is home, my blog is “blog”. Did sometrhing change in 3,0 to screw something up?
What it’s showing is the “Home” page contest as a post, but it is not showing the posts in the post queue, which are still there.

In reply to: Conversion to 3.0 trashed my siteNevermind, I found it. So here is where I am at. Back to the original problem. For some reason it made my home page the blog page. It’s showing the content of the home page in the blog. And the blog is nowhere to be found. But the posts are all there. I need the blog page to come back up when I click the blog link.
I am assuming what it did was over write what I did when I set the blog as separate from the home page. I wanted to use WordPress as a CMS for the site and have blog entries run on a different page than normal

In reply to: Conversion to 3.0 trashed my siteNope.
OK, here’s what messed me up the second time. I changed the setting of the url in the control panel to /blog which is where the blog is. But the wp-admin is in teh root so whenever I try to sign in it goes to the /blog and I get a 404. How can I fix that in the database? Where is it? I can go in through phpmyadmin and fix it.

In reply to: Conversion to 3.0 trashed my siteYes, I have the twenty ten theme. But it did not pick it so I renamed the theme folder back (Bueno by Woo Themes).
I will try what Ipstenu says now

In reply to: Conversion to 3.0 trashed my siteOK, tried it. I renamed the folders as you suggested. Now I get a blank page when I try to access anything. Glad I saved my blog.
Any ideas now?
