I’ve managed to solve the issue by changing the slashes in the pathes in the table ‘wp_ngg_gallery’, column ‘path’. E.g. from ‘wp-content\\gallery\\rooms/’ to ‘wp-content/gallery/rooms/’.

I found out that adding new images to galleries doesn’t work anymore. It says that everything is OK but there are no the images in the folder.
