@metodi It works for me.
I really appreciate it.@heinihoo Bing Translator ends up translating post completely; it takes time to do it, but it does it.
@uojose I reverted to the WordPress 5.8.3 installation with the “WP Downgrade | Specific Core Version plugin”, activated bing as translation engine and upgraded back to WordPress 5.9.
MSN API key
Microsoft translator used to use the Bing AppID methodology for authentication.
This has changed to use the Windows Azure Marketplace oAuth-based authentication, for which you get a client id and a client secret.
The author of the WordPress plug-in would have to update their plug-in to allow you to use the new methodology (it’s not simply replacing the app id, there’s some change in code required)
Thanks @diferenty. The solution then is to pay google or microsoft for the API key.
Hello.
When selecting the preferred automatic translation engine, I have chosen Bing translator. With google translator I get [object window] errors in many sentences.
With Bing translator I can translate paragraphs and even whole posts, but there is a moment when it stops translating sentences.
Curiously, after pausing cloudflare, when I refresh the post, it finishes translating the text.
In the google console I get the error:
Failed to load resource: https://www.bing.com/widget/metrics.js server responded with status 404 ()transposh.js? [sm]:119 1/4 auto translated
transposh.js? [sm]:119 2/4 auto translated
transposh.js? [sm]:119 3/4 auto translated
transposh.js? [sm]:119 4/4 auto translatedI think the problem comes from the translation engines.
It would not be strange if you have to pay, as in other translation plugins, for the automatic translation.
I have the same error [object window] when selecting google translator, also with WordPress 5.9 the translator change does not work.
A previous version of file jquery.js in wp-includes/js/jquery/ solve the problem.
