Not sure what the plugin author means above when he says “In that case you should set your homepage description on that specific page.” Can you please explain this for us?
I’ve got the same issue. How do I set the description for my home page, which is a page and not a post? There is nowhere to fill in a description field either on the page or in the plugin settings, even though plugin settings shows what the homepage description will lbe set to (it isn’t editable). Do I need to use a custom field? If so, what do I call it?
