I opened the console and found the files that are “insecure”, but I’m just not sure how to change the reference since they are relating to the theme’s CSS

Hello,

You just need to find the actual seal of your SSL. This is just a graphic that comes with your SSL certificate saying that your site is protected. Sometimes you can click on the graphic and it will display the SSL Certificate information for site viewers.
