Yes, it seems to be running fine, though it’s only been a few days.
FYI, I had pretty much the same issue. I was running a wp 6.1 site on php 8.0. When I tried to activate the post smtp plugin (Version 2.1.10) I got the same error as you are showing above . I ended up downgraded php to 7.4, which let me activate the plugin. I was then able to switch back to php 8.0 without any issue.
