I think I’ve figured it out, or at least found a work-around.
I visited my site, and for various items I wanted to change the colors of, I right-clicked and selected “inspect element”. I was able to find the rules that influenced what colors were used for what and copied and modified those in the custom CSS manager.

It looks like on my contact page the links have changed color, but the links I really want changed are on the photo tiles. They are currently grey, and when you hover over them, they turn green. I can’t seem to find out where that section of code is that needs to be changed.
