Suddenly out of nowhere today everyone was blocked from my website with the message: “Your IP has been blocked!”. It’s an open website, with no login needed. No one should ever be blocked unless they try to login to the admin area. A search of my database found the exact block message in this plugin. When I removed the plugin, website access was back to normal.
BackupGuard Support solved this for me. It was another plugin (Simple Calendar) that was misbehaving and causing the problem. Once I removed that, it works fine.
