Hi, I’m sorry, but not having purchased a paid extension (I don’t have a need for one) I see no way of accessing the support on your website to post an issue. I’d be willing to purchase a license for the core plugin, but don’t see any being offered. Kind of a dead end, isn’t it?

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] Mdocs – viewing other file typesI did set it up, thanks to your excellent step-by-step instructions. It works, however the small downside of using box viewer is that the printer button is not available with this viewer. The different file type are however loading nicely into preview. Thanks!

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] User Role types and File Access controlA workaround is to enter three role types, that way two are retained, or the extra one can be deleted. Just an extra step. Too bad there is no filter available to batch edit all documents for role types?

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] User Role types and File Access controlHi,
The contributors role types field retains only the author’s name and one other, the latest one entered, even if you save the page. When you reopen it, the extra entry disappears.

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] Disabling post accessHide All Posts (Non-members) seems to work, the Go to post option is no longer visible. On the other hand, now I can’t access the post from the back-end Document Library, document drop down, when I click Go to post I get this: Sorry you can’t see this Memphis Documents file you don’t have the proper permission. (i’m logged in as admin). I don’t care, I don’t need this function, as long as the users don’t have access to the Go to post link, I’m good.
I just don’t know what causes this message.

Hi,
I’m using version 1.3.88. Let me assure you that I know nothing about dealing with server side caching. The page level access control based on roles does not work for me to solve this issue. For example, I have a page of documents in a folder structure (Memphis documents plugin) which I made accessible to a certain role, while another page with a full file listing should not be available to that role. Once logged in though as the first user type, I can now type in the permalink for the full file list and presto, the page is served up. I tried adding the shortcode [um_show_content roles=..], same problem. I cannot turn off the theme because it serves the pages through the front end. The document lists are served by the Mdocs plugin, so once again it would not be useful to turn that off.
Any other ideas?
Many thanks.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] mdocs Preview stopped workingP.S. The following Custom CSS code was added and it fixed the problem:
.mdocs-container td
{
overflow: inherit !important;

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] Disabling post accessI tried all the different settings, nothing changes. The post opens in the same window, the browser back button (which is now available) takes me back to the document list ([mdocs cat=”All Files”]) still on the same browser window.

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] Disabling post accessHi, the Post Page Target Type is _blank. I have no idea what these settings do.
Strangely, the emails page has now reappeared. Have no clue as to what happened, nothing was changed. In any case, I am closing this topic as resolved. Thank you.

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] mdocs Preview stopped workingHi, thanks for your quick reply! It was not the preview after all. The pop-up menu that comes up when you click on the file name stayed hidden behind the file list. This happened after my theme was updated. I rolled it back to the previous version and mdocs works again. Do you know what may have caused this? I’m using a Nexustheme theme.
