Hi Ryan,
It seems that the option is not set correctly in the Responsive Menu admin section.
Have you tried changing it to 5 for example or what is it set to at the moment?
Actually on further inspection there seems to strange stuff added to your “CSS of Menu to Hide” option, for example it seems the following has been entered?
#responsive-menu .responsive-menu li li .appendLink, #responsive-menu .responsive-menu li li liEither this or something very odd is going on, can you provide a WordPress admin user for me to take a look.
Many thanks
Peter
Hi Martin,
You are absolutely right that this should be important to all developers as it is to me.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and I believe I have now fixed this in the 2.5 beta development version.
Could you please download and install and see if it has fixed this for you?
You can download it from the below location:

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Where to download 2.5 beta?Hi Steve,
Thanks for the kind words, the beta version can be downloaded from the developer tab, or on the URL below:

In regards a pro version with more features, God help me if I can sustain any more, I think we’re currently on 67 different options and counting!
Many thanks

Hi emitremmus,
I’m afraid that this is the way it has to work for all sorts of reasons.
For example how would you add the additional content around the header menu only responsively like the title, image, additional content, search box etc. etc. You also would then have problems of making it compatible with a shortcode etc.
If you can find a way of doing this only using the original menu then you are more than welcome to try, however I don’t think you will be able to keep all the functionality offered I’m afraid with this approach.
I can see why the duplicated menu might not be so nice on your eyes when reading the source code, but I would say it makes the sites front end that people see alot nicer on the eyes which is the more important thing to 99.9% of people viewing your site.
Many thanks

Hi CA Shadle,
Unfortunately without a URL it’s quite hard to say what it could be.
You could have something covering the links thats invisible, or some javascript in your theme disabling the links or anything really.
I really can’t say without having access I’m afraid.
Peter
Hi Luc,
Glad you got it working!

Hi shrinehi,
I will add a reset to default settings option on the development list for you.
And I imagine you can use multiple triggers, what happened when you tried?
Many thanks
Peter
Hi Ryan,
What value do you have set for the “Menu Depth” option?
If it’s not this, then it could be some CSS in your theme overwriting it.
Many thanks
Peter
Hi Clouder,
You can use the additional HTML content option for adding HTML including shortcodes, however PHP will not be allowed.
If you create your own shortcode and insert this then that will work.
Many thanks

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Hide three linesHi Jirka,
In regards the text aligning to two rows, you can set the following style in your themes style.css file:
#responsive-menu .responsive-menu li a { white-space: normal !important; height: auto !important; line-height: auto !important; }Let me know how you get on with that!
Many thanks

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Submenu doesn't workHi Dragan,
That is the correct option, there is another option called “Auto expand sub-menus”, make sure this is NOT ticked also.
It could be however that some CSS/JavaScript in your theme is conflicting with these options but if not it will work as expected.
Many thanks
Peter

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Hide three linesHi Jirka,
Email recieved succesfully.
Have you installed the beta version and tested it and did it work or not?
Also, in regards aligning the long text are you talking about the menu items text or something different and what kind of alignment are you after (centre, left etc.), the more specific the better so I can help you as best as possible.
Many thanks
Peter
