In reply to: After upgrading to 4.1 Blanc New Post Area, No Toolbarwhat I did to locate the problem is installing wordpress 4.1 to localhost on my ubuntu-mate machine.
Then I took all the privileges from the tinymce, i noticed the same problem, then I contacted the useless support, because I didn’t have access via ssh.
He didn’t know what to do, as usual, so I changed the chmod manually by the GUI “permission” option they provide in their “File Manager”, but i had to do it directory by directory 🙁
It works eventually 🙂

In reply to: After upgrading to 4.1 Blanc New Post Area, No ToolbarThank you guys, I had to spend like 1hr to do manually 755 to every sub-directory and sub-file included in the tinymce, it works at the end.
The technicians didn’t even know how to do that by adding the -R to include all the sub-s.

In reply to: After upgrading to 4.1 Blanc New Post Area, No Toolbar@tara, iPage won’t give me that info, last time the technical support person was in-respectful he tried to patronize me, searched google and told me that the problem was in tinymce.php, that’s the last time I will register at iPage.
@enginematt, I can’t do that because, iPage doesn’t give you ssh access, so I can chmod -R 777 or any of that you have told me above..

I did changed my limit to 512mb a while ago, and today did it again in wp-conf, it did not work.
You are right in ownership and permissions, but what directory to give those chmod to?Forum: Fixing WordPress
