- change this setting in b2evo: http://patsplanet.com/static/wordpress/b2evo_import/b2evo_import.png
- goto http://yourblog.com/index.php?blog=YOURBLOGNUMBER&tempskin=wpimport (EXAMPLE: http://falschgold.net/index.php?blog=13&tempskin=wpimport)
- save the source of this page (firefox: ctrl+u)
- import as rss into wordpress
remarks:
- i checked with b2evo 10.0.2 and wp 2.6
- the skin is basically the same skin as the rss2 skin of b2evo. it’s necessarry to replace around line 67 all instances of
<category domain=”XXXX”> to <category> or the wp import failes
- imported articles are not assigned to authors, the XML tags in the rss feed are ignored unfortunately

the rss import feature is not really an option because all categories would be missing..

i had it already installed, but had the impression, it is for sending references for posts around.
for someone with a similar difficulty to RTFM:
install it, enable it, go to “write” and you will find a new sub menu “Email” which let you send mails to your editors,

the menu entry “Programm” on the left is created as
<li class="cat-item cat-item-3 current-cat">Programm</li>the same category link below “Freedom of Movement” is created as
<a rel="category tag" title="Alle Artikel in Programm anzeigen" href="http://flocksmart.de/site/category/programm">Programm</a>so, i can style the word in the menu, but not the one from the the_category listing below the post title.

after solving the thumbs problem and finding my way into the code of exhibit.php i still wonder why, for instance, the thumbs are displayed different (or better: with different code) on the “main page” and on the “main page with comments area”.
this has not just something to do with formating, but with whether a thumb shoul’d appear or not. for instance here: http://www.dexteressentials.com/blog/index.php the big dark picture with the white border is not in the thumbs (intended by not checking “preview” in the “edit post” area.) but here http://www.dexteressentials.com/blog/index.php?p=2#comments it suddenly appears.
owen, what are your plans? do you think you will make the comments area using the same settings like the main page or should i hack it myself into the code (and break upgradebility)?

In reply to: Exhibit 1.0c Photo Gallery Pluginok, the thumbs problem i solved by creating a directory “t” by hand..
afterwards, strangely, the “add current directory” worked too (maybe it was a permission thing although i set all files to “.apacheuser” and chmodded it to g+w)
what i missed was, that i can click onto the small picture icons on to the left of the filename. maybe you should put a around them, so that the cursor changes to the usual “hand”..

In reply to: Exhibit 1.0c Photo Gallery Pluginok, i installed it, can upload pictures, they even appear on the right side of the exhibit box in “advanced editing” – but i can neither create thumbs (pressing the link just does nothing) nor can i add the directory to the left side of the box.
the webserver’s error log doesn’t spit out anything when pressing “Add current directory”.
all this with 1.0c and the wordpress mingus from sourceforge, virgin installation..
