You are amazing. Thank you! Sweet dreams. π
Shows more commands -jailshell, ps aux, sort -n, head -10 but all 0.0 %CPU usage still. *head desk* I’m so lost! Is there anything that will monitor it but over a span of time to catch when it is maxing out?
Again THANK YOU so so so much for this!Maybe I missed it. It was only for under a minute. I wish it would run a log instead of me trying to catch it real time! LOL
It actually just maxed out while I was replying to you. I had my ssh window open and no change. How does that even make sense? My add on domain should be under that login for ssh as well in case it’s my other site. (Which would be weird because it is very bare bones content and plugin wise).
Thank you so much for taking the time to help me with this. I’ve been so lost!
Mine is showing literally 0.0! http://postimg.org/image/jgphycpcl/ Yet my Resource Usage in cPanel is showing 25-50% at the moment. (Not maxing out but doing something).
Hi Tim. Thanks. Yes it is still doing it periodically. It is very random. I am doing that now. Don’t really understand what I am seeing but so far I only see 2 commands running. Top and Bash. I guess once whatever is hogging it starts up again it will add a command? Sorry I’m not really that knowledgable at this. π
Thanks! I must admit I was hoping it would find something bad to solve my problems but alas no such luck. π
Thanks Tim! That worked. π
I agree. Definitely more people moving to new hosts than new domains. Usually the new host will take care of the transfer but since with my current host I don’t have a cPanel the new host can’t do it for me. It has to be done manually which is something that freaks me out! I don’t think there should be any risk of losing stats or rankings since the domain remains the same. The name servers just have to be pointed in the right direction which has happened before when I moved hosts but I just don’t feel confident that I’ll put it on the new server properly. I’ve already got my account with my new host so hopefully Cory can do a tutorial using me that will help you gemstar once you do decide to move!
Hi Cory! I opened a help ticket yesterday referring to this thread. I am willing to give you access to perform the migration for my site to help others if gemstar hasn’t done so. I started the process on my own but I still feel lost on how to do it to move hosts maintaining my domain etc. All the tutorials I’ve seen only demonstrate moving from local host to new host or using new domains. Thank you!!!!
