I did the changes to .htaccess, but nothing changed.
As I told, this seems to be very unusual.
The file .htaccess is very simple:
# BEGIN WordPress
# END WordPress
Because I’m speaking about “installation”, I have no active plugins, and the default theme is “Twenty sixteen” with no changes made by myself.
Maybe the source of the problem could be related to the versions of PHP, MySQL; Apache?

This is the initial installation (no further pages created), so I don’t know about other pages, but previously I tried restoring my local site, and I can tell you that for the homepage the problem was the same, but other pages were properly loaded.
