Great to hear we’re making progress here. Let me just quote our Co-Founder and Lead Developer here on php upgrades importance:
A friendly reminder to everyone who did not switch to PHP 7.2 yet: PHP 5.x and 7.0 are reaching end of life by the end of the year. This means NO MORE SECURITY VULNERABILITY FIXES. EVER. Using old versions in 2019 means rolling out the red carpet for hackers.

7.1 enters “security fixes only” mode, which means it will be killed off by the end of 2019, so it’s best to go for a long term release.
The only long term support PHP versions are 7.2 and upcoming 7.3. PeepSo will drop support for 5.x next year.
If you are stuck with a host that doesn’t offer 7.2, using plugins or themes that don’t work with 7.2 yet – RUN FOR YOUR LIFE.
We’d strongly recommend either contacting the developers whose plugins / theme don’t work with latest PHP and pretty much force them to update them. If they’re unwilling to do so, they don’t seem very good at their job. In which case: Run For Your Life.

Out of curiosity, wha PHP version are you using? If it’s anything below PHP 5.6 PeepSo will not work and you should really consider upgrading to at least PHP 7.2 (7.3 is coming out soon).

When you say: PeepSo doesn’t work, what is it that you mean. It’s very vague, if there’s anything specific like: “can’t create new posts” or “can’t navigate to profile” etc. Please do open a ticket via our ticketing system on PeepSo.com/contact and our support will be happy to help.

Sorry to hear about that. Why made you remove it? If it’s a technical problem, our team will be happy to help.
As for the tables, you need to mark in advanced settings that you want a complete uninstallation of all data on plugin removal. It’s done like that so that people can safely upgrade from zip packages or not lose data by accidental removal etc.

It might be a conflict with your theme or a 3rd party plugin. Sounds like JS is not ‘firing’. Without at least knowledge of your site and being able to check it it’s just a guessing game.
