Thanks @numeeja. I’m glad to see that it’s under consideration to be added to a core release.

I know how to manually update a plugin. This was not a support question; just about anything can be done via FTP and shell. My post was a suggestion for improving usability, so that users don’t have to go through all the extra steps outlined in my original post or your codex link.

Still, additional filtering would be nice, such as Last Updated Within X Weeks, Star Rating, Compatibility. These should be easy to implement, since that meta data already exists.

Have you tried updating your WordPress installation to the latest version (4.7.1)?

Some web browsers support automatic conversion of spaces in URLs to %20, but it’s by no means standard.

Hi Saumya. I check wp-config.php, and there’s no indication of memory_limit being set there (nor anything being set to 256). I’ve send another request to my hosting provider asking about the possibility of my PHP installation or php.ini file being run from the wrong location.

Instead of requiring authors to update the changelog, perhaps encourage them to do so? Maybe, a little confirmation reminder, when they update, if they have not updated the changelog, or a redirect after update to the update changelog page?

Hi Saumya. Thanks for the quick response. My hosting provider tells me that my PHP memory limit is actually set to 90MB. Sure enough, when I check PHP info, memory_limit is set to 90M. Your thoughts?

Hello @dots. I’m not sure why I was tagged in your response.

No love from the plugin author? I’m interested in this as well because I would like to set my timeout to 8 hours (28,800 seconds).

The posts this weekend didn’t post to social media.

P.S. I made a mistake. It’s the posts to Twitter that are not autoposting. Facebook is working fine.

I just tried ticking the box for My Content Filters in Debug/Report Settings. The next autopost is scheduled for this Saturday, so we’ll see if that makes a difference.

Unfortunately, no, not that I can see. I submitted this support ticket on the 14th. This is the log data that I was able to retrieve:

Thanks, everyone! I went ahead and installed the WordPress Default Category plugin, and it seems to be working. 🙂
