In reply to: [Ascent] Separate posts page with non-static home pageI’m having a similar issue. Using Shopisle theme I’ve got a great full page slider as Home Page but in order to have that I must set it to ‘latest posts’ which means I can’t set up a separate ‘Post’ page because that requires a ‘static’ home page. Also, some of my older posts are on pages. I want to keep them that way because I can edit the appearance of the page but can’t (yet) edit a post’s appearance. There are no tags for pages. Any tips, anybody?
I’m just setting up EDD on my site, with Shopisle Theme. Just learning the ropes. I’m a bit confused about the difference between a download page and a normal page. I created my ‘Shopfront’ page with several links to downloadable products. The links corresponded with the download ‘pages’ of those products, which have the ‘add to cart’ buttons, but when I checked the links to those download ‘pages’ I got the ‘error 404’ message. Why?

In reply to: [Simple Custom CSS Plugin] Plugin doesn't work?I’m a noob so excuse me for using this thread but I’m tearing my hair out! I’m using Shopisle (child theme) with WordPress 4.4.2. How the f**k do I change the colour of the pages from boring white to something else and how do I get rid of the empty space underneath the header image on all pages, before the text? I’ve tried using the Simple Custom CSS plug in and nothing happens. I’ve tried adding suggested codes in the style.css of the child theme and nothing happens. Help me out I’m growing old trying to get around these problems. My site isn’t live yet so can’t give a link. HELP!!!!
