Thank you for the quick reply. Yes, that seems to remedy the white screen for the sitemap. However, then my pagespeed goes from a score of 94 to 56 lol So it is definitely not the best fix.

Can’t I just exclude pages that are *.xml and *.xsl? or at least that would be ideal so at least the homepage and other pages wouldn’t get hit so hard with the lower performance score. I appreciate you pushing this to the DEV team. Fingers crossed!!
