    The $table_prefix in both the old and new wp-config.php is ‘wp_’

    While waiting for a response, I re-copied the old \xampp\htdocs\wordpress directory to the new location. I was able to login but got the message ‘Database Upgrade Required’. After upgrading I received the ‘Upgrade Complete’ message. Login showed that I was back to ver 2.6 but non of my data – header, posts, drafts, etc – was there. I did a further upgrade to ver 2.7 but still can’t see the data.

    I have a lot of drafts (and hours) in that data and would prefer not to have to rewrite, assuming that I can remember the topics.

    Is there some step that I have missed?
