I am having the same problem but not using any cache systems, cdn, or cloudflare.
donate.rabbitisland.org is the site I am testing.
This would be a big improvement on my end. Please consider it a second. If there is any editing I can do myself to the plugin files I’d be comfortable making the changes in the meantime too. Would that be possible?
