In reply to: [Event-O-Matic] eom-events code not workingI do not have a page called “events.” I just deactivated and reactivated the plugin, and now goodneighborstories.com/events is working. However, is there any way to make my “Community Calendar” page act as the “Events” page? If I can’t do that, is there any way to make goodneighborstories.com/events a tab in my navigation bar?

In reply to: [Event-O-Matic] eom-events code not workingHi Matthew,
I did as you suggested above. Widget is now working, and the new page with the [eom-form] shortcode is working. However, http://goodneighborstories.com/events is not working. It briefly worked earlier, and in fact, it even was working momentarily on my Community Calendar page. What would be my next step? Preferably I’d want a page called “Community Calendar” that lists all the events in one place.
Thanks so much for your help.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Event-O-Matic] eom-events code not workingNow the event listings are showing up on my “Community Calendar” page, but now none of the links on the sidebar widget work. When you click on any of the links, it takes you to an error – not found page. Also, how does anyone create a listing? On my original Community Calendar page I had the eom-listings code, and the code for submitting a listing. Where does that appear now?

In reply to: [Event-O-Matic] How do I configure a widget for a sidebar?Never mind. I found it. For some reason I didn’t see it the first time on my widget menu. Thank you for such a great plugin.

In reply to: [Event-O-Matic] Event-O-Matic disappeared from my siteI should add that the widget I installed in my primary sidebar also disappeared.

In reply to: [Event-O-Matic] Stopped workingI was using the ones recommended, [eom-events], [eom-form]. However, it’s now back to working, for reasons I don’t understand. I deactivated the plugin a few days ago, and erased the shortcodes from the page. Just now, to answer your question I went back in, reactivated the plugin so I could take a look at the codes, and went ahead and put the codes back on the page to see what would happen. And there it was, working again.
Thanks for responding to my call for help.

In reply to: [Event-O-Matic] Stopped workingI deleted the plugin, then went to “add new” plugin, found it, reinstalled it, and activated. Still is not working. The codes all appear to be correct. I have not installed anything, or updated anything in the past week or so.

In reply to: [Event-O-Matic] Can't find sidebar widgetIt says “active” in the plugin menu. I think as I was moving things around I had pulled the widget out of the primary sidebar and into the “available widgets” box, where settings are deactivated. I tried putting it back to the primary sidebar and saving settings, but it won’t show up. I’ve tried doing it a couple of times, plus I may have deactivated and reactivated, but it still won’t show up. I can add venues and events, and they show up on the calendar page I created, but no widget. Thank you for your help.

In reply to: [Event-O-Matic] Can't find sidebar widgetI was successfully using the sidebar widget, but I was moving some stuff around, and I think I somehow disabled it. No matter what I do I can’t seem to get the widget to show up again. Any suggestions?
