In reply to: [Xeroom] Orders having Demo Version of Xeroom added to Customer infoThe only way Xero can be communicated with is via the API keys so it must be coming from your new app somehow if you have deleted the old app in Xero.

In reply to: [Xeroom] Orders having Demo Version of Xeroom added to Customer infoWhat plugin are you using – I would like to test it and see if I can repeat what is happening on your site? Since Xeroom doesn’t make and cannot make any changes to Xero it is a mystery. I presume you have cleared your caches?

In reply to: [Xeroom] Orders having Demo Version of Xeroom added to Customer infoCan you check that the plugin files have been fully deleted under the xeroom dir under plugins? Did you install the new plugin before removing xeroom?

In reply to: [Xeroom] Inrernal Server ErrorHi – please check that you created the public key correctly as I just noticed that some of the command was obscured on the instructions. The full command to use is
openssl req -newkey rsa:1024 -x509 -key privatekey.pem -out publickey.cer -days 1825Other than that please repeat what you did for you local host.

In reply to: [Xeroom] Inrernal Server ErrorSSL is not a problem. Since you have no message in debug there are no comms going on between WooCommerce and Xero. You must have missed a step in the procedure, probably the API keys and certificates don’t match. Because it cannot make any comms it hangs. We will add a timeout/comms message to the current version to make this clear to users.

In reply to: [Xeroom] Inrernal Server ErrorHi
There are 3 possible causes 1) incorrect installation of the plugin so it cannot communicate with xero (most likely) 2)Interaction with some other plugins that you are using with Woo or 3) a security setting is kicking in (least likely but can happen eg I had one with the paypal checkout). Please can you tell me what error message given in the Debug screen is? What checkout are you testing it on?
Thanks

In reply to: [Xeroom] Payment gateway feesHi again Nick – I haven’t tested Xeroom with Stripe, it does work with Paypal surcharges though which is what I use. I will open a Stripe account and test it and let you know.
Thanks

In reply to: [Xeroom] Variable product priceHi Nick
I think that is a good idea as the handling of zero amounts can cause many unexpected problems for accounting systems.
Glad you have sorted it.

In reply to: [Xeroom] Variable product priceDear Nick
Thank you for your question.
I don’t have any experience of using this plugin. My suggestions would be to:
1. Check your Xeroom settings and try changing the Master setting from/to Xero from/to Woo to see if that makes a difference. I think the error is due to trying to send a payment of 0 to Xero which is getting rejected by the Xero API’s error trapping. Using Xero as the master might get around that as the prices in Xero are used instead of being sent from Woo. The question is why is a payment of 0 being passed?
2. Try disabling the gift card plugin and doing the test.
3. I will need to ask my developer what field is being used.Kind regards
Pete

In reply to: [Xeroom] Invoices not applying DiscountHi Joey
Thanks for your email and info on the issue you have hit, and the great explanation too.
I find it strange that Xeroom doesn’t send the actual invoice amount data from WooCommerce to Xero. If I go into the order on WooCommerce it shows the item and SKU correctly with the total correctly calculated with the discount applied. I would have thought it was this data sent across to Xero which is why I can’t understand the cause of the problem? That is because you have a choice of whether to use the prices and descriptions held in Woo or in Xero to be used on the invoices that get created in Xero. This is set in the Xeroom settings. I suspect that you have it set to Xero, try changing it to Woo.
We did do a lot of testing with discounts and vouchers so I know that this works and will be down to another issue which we need to establish. If the above doesn’t work then please send me logins to both your Woo and Xero systems for me to check.
Thanks
Pete

In reply to: [Xeroom] Not syncing OrdersHi – you can just run a test purchase and check it through the process. Then delete the order and invoice afterwards. To upload your history we have just released our bulk data uploader for Xeroom but that is only available to purchase not as a free item.

In reply to: [Xeroom] Not syncing OrdersHi
We did have an issue with the free licences a few months ago due to a hack which has now been fixed. If you reactivate a free licence it should be working fine.
If it was working before then it looks like your bank account code in Xero has changed. The code in the Xeroom settings must match what you have in Xero otherwise it cannot synch as it has to post transactions to the various accounts when it creates invoices in Xero.
Let me know how you get on.
Thanks

In reply to: [Xeroom] Chart of Account codesHi Glen
Xeroom doesn’t care about your COA only that the accounts required to create the invoice are valid, exist and are set in the settings page.
You have to have an active free or premium licence for xeroom to work. Did you activate the free licence? There is also a full licence key given on the install page if you wish to try the premium version.
Kind regards
Pete
