    thanks for your reply. I have tried the methods you suggested without any effect. let me eplain the steps i took with the whole process:

    step 1> i created a subdomain from my subdomain button under domains in my cpanel
    step 2> i created database in my SQL database wizard in cpanel
    step 3> i downloaded wordpress from wordpress.org
    step 4> i edited config.php
    step 5> i uploaded wordpress to my sudomain folder via ftp
    step 6> goto subdomain urland setup wordpress..

    Now my challenge starts from step 6, after all these process, when i load my subdomain url, i get this http error 500 message, i have tried the htacess option, no result, disabled plugins, no result, there is no theme set yet, so also the theme soluton didnt apply or work..

    Pls i need further assistance with this stubborn issue
