I don’t have a file called single.php – never had – just started having this issue when I was under the admin and created the permalinks. the menu across the top of the page is in the header.php file, so I know its pulling the file, but for some reason it loses the image.

Thanks for the compliment on the design, but the only thing I can really take credit for is the logo I found the template online.
