Hmm…I’ve been using the widgets included with my theme (Lavinya Black), but for the moment have simply shut off the post count. Will need to work out a solution down the road.

Solved.
I had made some typing errors while getting rid of the default Title and Description text. I must not have noticed deleting the references to the backgrounds when I changed it later on.

Found my error…it’s somewhere in header.php going back to an older (but still messed) version of the file popped the backgrounds back in.
should have it solved soon 😛

Got it all solved, thank you very much.
Now if only I had realized I’d lose all my changes by upgrading to newest version! Oops!
