Hi – I also want to add a widget area but when I add a widget to the primary widget area it does not show up anywhere (adding items to the secondary widget area does work ie show up)
Worked it out – I had a couple of previous versions of the page in ‘trash’ – when I permanently deleted the old versions it then allowed me to name it properly
– I was trying to name it “about” and it kept returning to “about-3”
– When I deleted the old versions of “about” from trash it then allowed me to name the live page “about”
