In reply to: [Phoenix Media Rename] Manage 301’sHi @crossi72
Please can you verify if the below statement is true:
When I edit the filename to be SEO-friendly, I have the option to set up a 301 redirect to notify the search engines the location of the image has changed.
To automatically create a 301 redirect when a filename is changed:
Settings > Phoenix Media Rename > [scroll to the bottom and select]
Create 301 redirection > and then Hit “Save”A 301 redirect passes the SEO juice from the old image filename to the new one.
A 301 redirect is a crucial step, if the filename is being improved, for example, “unlocked-podcast-icon” to “unlocked-podcast-by-matt-landau-logo” or “logo” to “vrmb-logo”.
Whether I do or do not set up a 301 redirect, WordPress will display the correct image because the platform pulls from a unique image ID in WordPress.
Many thanks,

In reply to: [Subscribe To Comments Reloaded] Subscribe to Comments Box Not ShowingTheir dev. team responded:
I’ve tested with performag and with that it works. The issue with Rise is that it doesn’t display the checkbox and the setting is not saved when posting a comment. The comments area implements the comment_form hook so there should not be a problem.

Can you please tell the user to ask the plugin what other hooks or filter they need in order to make the theme compatible?

In reply to: [Subscribe To Comments Reloaded] Subscribe to Comments Box Not ShowingHi Reedyseth,
ThriveThemes are usually pretty good about being a good neighbor. They don’t have a free theme. But I’ll glad send you the login details to my personal website, where I have ThriveThemes install. The same issue is present on both sites.
See: http://www.willfranco.com/my-approach-to-video/
Let me know,

In reply to: [Subscribe To Comments Reloaded] Subscribe to Comments Box Not ShowingMany thanks for the assistance. I just tried position “Yes,” it did not work either. I loaded the site in Inconito mode, so cache shouldn’t be an issue either.
I’m using http://www.thrivethemes.com
Any ideas?

In reply to: [Redirection] Source URL: /page vs /page/the bug is easy to miss!
if you visit the target page by clicking the source first it will work
and then if you visit the non-trailing slash it will work
you have the visit the non-trailing slash first to get the 404

In reply to: [Redirection] Source URL: /page vs /page/Same issue. I have to create 2 for every one. I’ve spent hours trying to find out why. I guess it’s easy to create two. But it just seems wrong. I’ve asked my host and they said, use another pluign.
I am have the same issue. Nothing seems to get the separator to appear.
Did you make an update? I made a new post and an auto-redirect to it was not created – in other words, I believe the issue is fixed!
Could I clone my DB and email it to you, to setup on a test site?
–You could then make a post, which “should” recreate the bug.
