I agree wholeheartedly!

I have decided I will quit upgrading this plugin unless there is a security issue. Every upgrade has required me to go through every page & post and update the code. There needs to be backward compatibility with existing use of the plugin.

Love the plugin; hate the work that comes with upgrades!
