After I wrote the above post, I skipped trying to use WP Settings and created a post with tubepress shortcode for the Youtube user. In Preview, it seemed to work!Forum: Plugins

403 Forbidden
Access is forbidden to the requested page:I have the latest copies of both WP and Tubepress. Since I have had this problem for over a month, I’m ready to give up on this plugin.

I have installed the free tubepress plugin but can’t get to its configuration option. When I go to my Dashboard Settings tab and click Tubepress under it, I get an error message:
403 Forbidden

Do you know anything about this or how to fix it?

In reply to: How can I create a catalog of one category of posts?I am using the plugin ‘Smart Archives Reloaded’ to generate index pages of each of these categories of posts. Not perfect though – when I click on the Month Heading in the index list, I get ALL the posts for that month not just the category specified, whereas the detailed listing does reflect only the posts desired. I have a similar situation with a ‘test’ version of my site and the ‘live’ version. It’s not a blog, it’s a site with multiple authors submitting content, mostly Events via the Events Manager Extended plugin, to the ‘live’ base. When I want to work on a new feature, I do it on the test base but it doesn’t have up to date content. When I use the Export tool, option all content, it doesn’t export my Events.If you have found a solution, I would appreciate hearing about it.
Exactly what I needed also! I’m really new at modifying our WP site and I have a hard time deciphering the documentation. Good examples really help.
