I changed to “ascending” and get my images back.
Thanks for this temporary solution.

I could upload with 2.0.61 (and WP 3.9).

I just downgraded to 2.0.61 but can’t upload neither (?).

Is there a log file I could check for an error message (I just get a warning logo for a few seconds on the upload UI)

Just upgraded to WP 3.8.2 (with NGG 2.0.61) => it’s working again. 🙂

Thanks for the hint, I will try without this parameter.

However, this parameter is/was proposed when inserting an image through “nextgen.desc” button in the “post” edit section (till ngg 1.9.13 at least), and worked very well to center images.
