i was having the same issue: new posts would be published but the page would still show the cached, older version with no new posts. what i did to fix it was to rename the file wp-content/wp-cache-config.php to something else, and then hit save settings on theplug in page to force the plugin to rebuild the wp-cache-config.php file. all my issues seem to have disappeared.
